This past week was one that was both fast and slow. Elder Henderson and I are really working to find people to teach. We played some basketball in the community gym this past week on Monday.
We met with Billy (the blind guy) again and talked about the Restoration of the Gospel. He was super into it and absolutely loves reading the Book of Mormon (his wife reads to him out loud before they go to bed every night).
Nothing really too crazy happened this week, but all is well in Bloomfield.
The 11th point of the true church: “The true church must teach that God and Jesus have bodies of flesh and bone.” A scripture mastery from Genesis: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” I’m so glad for my body. I love the Calvin and Hobbes strip where Calvin is flexing at a mirror and saying something to tune of “Created in God’s image, himself. Yessir!”
Sorry I don’t have too much to say, but I’m loving Bloomfield and super excited for the coming weeks. Thanks for all the love and support!
