Where two or three are gathered…

Elder Woodbury at Chaco Culture

Happy Memorial Day! This past week was really good. Chaco Canyon on Monday was really fun and the branch is really growing, On the other side of things, Rachel and Justin, as well as another awesome family moved away this past week. They’ll be well wherever they’re at.

The branch is moving all of the leaders that come from Gallup back to Gallup so the branch can provide for itself. Yesterday President Jones gave a combined Sunday School and 3rd hour meeting on strengthening ourselves form within. I love when Christ mentions how when “two or three are gathered in my [Christ’s] name there am I in the midst of them.” Everything doesn’t have to be picture perfect, but a branch can grow from small means.
Anyways, great things are happening here. I’m finishing up the Book of Alma and reading about all of the wars. Poor Pahoran. He cared so much and Captain Moroni thinks he forgot about him. Even though the Nephites were outnumbered many times, they were able to defeat the Lamanites because of the faith and preparation. Even the 2,000 sons on Helaman were raised and prepared from when they were young.
I’m doing really good and loving it out here. Love you all, have a good week!
Elder Woodbury
It is a National Park in New Mexico. Here is the intro on the first page for it.
“The Center of an Ancient World

Today the massive buildings of the ancestral Pueblo peoples still testify to the organizational and engineering abilities not seen anywhere else in the American Southwest. For a deeper contact with the canyon that was central to thousands of people between 850 and 1250 A.D., come and explore Chaco through guided tours, hiking & biking trails, evening campfire talks, and night sky programs.”
